Patrick McGarath walked into his room, blowing a candle out and looking upon his students, he placed his breifcase on the chair next to him opening it and revealing a book called: Astronomy Beginning. He passed a few books around to the students, reminding them to read a specific page called: Libra Starsigns.

Bolt Kaeso. After hearing the announcement through the halls, Boltie grudgingly got up to go to Astronomy class. It was one of his favorites, sadly, he was too busy staring at the stars normally to.. you know.. pay attention to what was being taught. Not that he could help it. Stars were the most beautiful things on the planet. Taking a seat down, away from others, save for a small white girl, he was soon saddened by the fact he was then surrounded. Flicking his tail back and forth across the floor behind him, Bolt then looked up when the teacher finally walked in. Tail tip flicked for a moment before he quickly curled it around himself so no one got the bright idea of stepping on it. After taking a book from the teacher, he then nearly instantly found the right page, unlike someone.. He glanced at the little white girly next to him who struggled to find her page. Poor girl.

Constantina. The third one into the classroom, she had quietly slipped into the first empty chair along the side that the other two were seated, hoping they would not attempt to speak with her. Having already been flipping through the book before giving the teacher a chance to speak, the gray mouse furre quickly found the specified page. Reading a book, that was definitely her prefered lesson, regardless of if it was a novel or a textbook. Anything that did not require her to speak would be fine, which is why her nose was both metaphorically and literally in the book the second her hands closed around it. As soon as she found the page on Libra, she promptly began reading, as instructed, doing her best to tune out any possible suggestion that she so much as open her mouth. The paragraphs were read one at a time, and each one twice; still not fully fluent in the language, she had a good grasp only on what parts would be necessary in basic conversation. Star signs generally did not qualify { c }

Constantina. in that category. In her mind, every word was translated to Greek, then each sentence revisited to get the actual meaning -- differences in syntax meant that the direct translation was, well, a jumble of randomly-placed words. Oh, well, the longer it took to read, the longer she could avoice speaking, right?

Diamanto. Just being his usual self, he loitered outside until the last minute, entering the classroom just in time, grabbing the seat next to his half-sister just before the teacher started handing out... Oh, great. Books. With an audible sigh, he took the book, brown eyes dramatically rolling at the thought of having to read. Intentionally flipping through the book slowly, he made a complete hyperbole of his own language barrier by picking a page that happened to be on a completely unrelated star sign before raising his hand to say, "Teacher, this the page?" However, he would attempt to flip over to the proper page, being held by a finger of the other hand, just as the professor started to reply. If he had to read, he would at least try to irritate the teacher first.

Kestrel McClaine slips in like a shadow next to his feline partner. They take a place apart from the others without so much as a word or glance, though they don't seem sinister

Katey .Late.. Ugh, why was she always late! Walking in quietly with her friend she slips in through the door, after seeing all of the people already in their seats she gets abit of a stage fright feeling inside. Suddenly, after hearing the teacher firmly ask the two of them to take their seats, she sneaks around the crowd to the opposite side, sitting quietly until she can realize what they both have missed.

Patrick McGarath stared into his book, his glasses perched slightly on his pointed nose, and he began to read certain parts of the book "Libra is the only inanimate sign of the zodiac, all the others representing either humans or animals. Many modern astrologers regard it as the most desirable of zodiacal types because it represents the zenith of the year, the high point of the seasons, when the harvest of all the hard work of the spring is reaped." He placed his book down for a moment and pushed his glasses back on.

Colonel Robert Shaw walked into the class room, he didn't care that he was late, his emerald eyes gleamed like stars themselves. He frowned softly seeing the many people who were already there. He sat near the teacher. The shapeshifter bit his lower lip glanceing around. This was a very odd room to say the least. Yet he found himself likeing it very much. He smiled just a little his eyes coming to at last rest on the teacher. Hearing some of the words he had spoken. Even if he was far to old to be a sudent he liked learning new things, he was bright but very stubborn. He got bored easily, all in all he was a very hard man to get along with.

Elfiez looked around, compeletly lost on where everyone else was in the book. She waved both her hands in the air, and then the teacher started to read the page! And she had no idea what page it was on. She stood up and shook her hands even more. "Excuse me?"She said quietly. She was over here spazzing out. She just wanted to learn, her first day in this class was not going to well. She looked at the boy next to her, then noticed more coming in late, most as if they could care less. One sat next to her, the others across the room. She still wanted her question answered. What page was this thing on?!

Bolt Kaeso just sat there quietly. He had no questions to ask out loud, though many silent ones that shall remain ever so mysterious. Looking around then he saw that more and more others arrived in the room, making the poor boy cross his legs and lift the book up till he was more than litterally hiding under it as he read. Though ears poked over the pages, they twisted and turned as he listened to the noises around him and the teacher talk and more people walk in. Oh this was just tourture! At least he read, seemingly intrested in what new knowlege he was learning. His attention was quickly disturbed by the small white fox girl next to him. She seemed frantic, or something. Boltie's ears folded back as he reached over to tug gently on her sleeve to catch her attention, turning his book so she could see it and pointed at the page number. Maybe that would help? If not, well he tried.

Constantina. A silent sigh followed her brother's antics, as she knew he was better at English than she was and that he was a bit on the rebellious side. Whatever, it seemed the teacher had ignored him. Out of the corner of her eye, she could also see the poor girl two seats away sitting with her hand raised, also being blatantly ignored, and looking a whole lot more genuinely confused than her prankster sibling. Some internal debate took place at the sight: she didn't want to talk, but the other girl didn't seem about to interupt -- no, nevermind. The mental discussion was resolved when the one at the end stood up and spoke, albeit softly. Well, that was probably more than she would have gotten up the courage to do in the other female's defense, so she refocused her gaze on the page in front of her, having been rereading along with the teacher's verbal reading, trying to get a better understanding of the text in front of her, and completely missing her neighbor's efforts to assist the { c }
Constantina. girl. Particularly, she was focusing on pronunciations. She was always bad at those in English. After all, the language had syllables that simple did not exist in Greek.

Diamanto. Plan thwarted by the teacher's complete disinterest in his student's requests for help, he grudgingly lowered his hand, properly flipping to the right page. Whatever, he probably should not risk his grades just to mess with a teacher who didn't care, anyway. He could certainly think of something else later. Anyway, he would look pretty stupid if the teacher had just gone over this and he had no idea what was going on. He managed to read the page much easier than his sister, having grown up bilingual, and therefore having learned plenty of words that didn't come up in simple conversation. The polar opposite of his sister, he hated reading, and that was the main drive, other than a rebellious streak, for his attempt to fake illiteracy to an apathetic teacher. After getting through the material once, unlike his sister, he looked up from the hated object in his hands, completely unwilling to go back over it countless times, and much more interested in, well, almost anything { c }

Diamanto. else. Like, for instance, the fact that the teacher was ignoring his students. "Hey, mister, you're the teacher, aren't you? Shouldn't you help your students? The poor girl over there can't find the page!" This was declared loudly after both the female's attempt to get the professor's attention and the male next to her attempting to show her the page. After all, his motivation wasn't pity or empathy, but simply to cause a little trouble.

Patrick McGarath perched his glasses down, slaming his book down; watching the frantic girl, before shouting across the room for her to stop, he looked at her, puzzled.. "Something that matter m'darling'" Before noticing the problem was over a lost page, he sighed and lead her to the correct page "Please follow." He gave her credit as it was her first lesson, usually he would just be in a bad mood for the rest of the lesson.

Kestrel McClaine claws at the chair, thinking to himself, "This is nice fabric. Gosh, are those real stars? What is that guy talking about? Is that a telescope? Where in the world am I?" :-P

Patrick McGarath continues to read the book, "The bright side Libra is easy going, charming and pleasant, all relationships are important to Libra, this sign simply can not do without other people, and makes an excellent party host. Libra is a sign that values peace at all costs, and is very fair minded. People like being around Librans, for in the event of a dispute they will seek a compromise. A word of caution on this compromise though, for things may not be what they seem, Librans can if they wish charm the birds from the trees! Charming, easy going, romantic, diplomatic, idealistic, refined, in love with love."

Elfiez sighed of relief when both the boy sitting next to her helped her then the teacher. "Thank you" Then happiily began reading along with this class. She didn't mean to disrupt the class so, but when she freaked out when the class was getting ahead of her. She read what she had missed then continued listening as the teacher read. Very nice class, despite the fact of her little outburst. She hoped that her next class would be better.

Bolt Kaeso's eyes drifted over to the boy who then sat up and.. spoke up, rather loudly to the teacher. .. Which was successfully ignored! Aha, this teacher had some mad skills or just.. didnt care. Too busy reading from the book. Boltie tried to read along but distractions were many by either the twinkle of a star out of the corner of his eye or perhaps his imagination getting the better of him. Oh he was a horrible learner, but he wasnt too thrilled on being in a dark room surrounded by others, you know? Flicking his tail back and forth, his ears then pricked up when it was announced "Class has ended." Really? Already? Perhaps the teacher was annoyed with the unruly students around him. At least HE was behaving.

Patrick McGarath placed his book down, "Seeing as this was a short class, you did alright, apart from certain outbursts" He sighed and dismissed everyone immediatly.
